Purposes of the processing activity:

Regular assessment of all study programs of the HWR Berlin by external experts from science and practice as well as by external students for quality assurance according to BlnStudAkkV. In the course of the system accreditation, it is necessary to list the names of the external participants in a quality report and then publish them in the publicly accessible database of the Accreditation Council.

The processing is necessary for the fulfilment of a legal obligation pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. c DSGVO. The processing is necessary for the fulfilment of the university’s tasks. The legal basis is BlnStudAkkV / §8 (2) BerlHG in conjunction with §6 (1) 12 BerlHG and serves the accreditation or the HWR quality management system.

Data transfer to a third country:

HWR Berlin plans to transfer personal data to the following third countries: Switzerland – Under certain circumstances, a Swiss accreditation agency may request random access to assessment protocols in order to carry out a system reaccreditation.

The data transfer is based on an adequacy decision of the EU Commission for Switzerland.

You have a right to information (pursuant to Art. 15 DS-GVO in conjunction with § 24 BlnDSG) on the part of then the person responsible about the personal data concerning you and to correction (Art. 16 DS-GVO), deletion (Art. 17 DS-GVO in conjunction with § 25 BlnDSG), and to restriction of processing (Art. 18 DS-GVO). Furthermore, you have the right to object to processing (Art. 21 DS-GVO) and the right to data portability (Art. 20 DS-GVO).

The data subject is obliged to provide the personal data.

The data subject cannot participate in the extended review procedure, as obligations to provide evidence according to §25 BlnAkkV must be complied with.

Automated decision-making:

There is no automated decision-making or profiling.
